The ANK Library Rules:
First of all, you have to be a member to rent. (Here's how to join) Now you give us a $5.00 deposit (each semester) and you can rent up to 3 discs at a time. You can request to get your $5.00 back at any time before the deadline at the end of the semester, provided that all your discs have been returned. All discs are due back in 2 weeks. If you fail to return them by your given due date, you will be fined $3, plus you lose your $5 deposit... I think that's what we said... email Jen if you have any questions, she'll know for sure. You will also lose your $5.00 if you fail to request it by the end of the semester.
Most rentable discs are in DIVX format, but we are in the process of switching over to DVD-RW. That way we can fit more on a disc, and we can rewrite it if a series gets licenced... and speaking of licencing...
...here's an announcement from Daniel. (Daniel is just absolutley dang spiffy cool... ^^)
"I'm opening up my DVD collection to borrow just like you would with the CD's that are in the official AnK Library. There will be 2 major changes to the basic rules if you want to borrow these DVD's.
1. You can only borrow 2 DVD's at a time for a 2 week period. If you keep it longer you lose your deposit. If returned after the 2 week period is over Deposit will be completly donated to the club. If not returned, I will rebuy the DVD and the difference in price and deposit will be donated to the club
2. The deposit for DVD's will be $30 a piece. If you want to borrow 2 DVD's it would be $60. This is in case someone decides to not return a DVD I can replace it without draining either my pocketbook or the club's account."
